Teen Patti

Originating in India, Teen Patti is the common thread that binds together a subcontinent that has hundreds of cultures and languages. The game is noted for its many variations reflecting local flavor. With the flexibility of the Foundation universal gaming platform, you can accommodate them all.

Sometimes known as Flush, Teen Patti resembles the British game 3 Card Brag. Played with a standard 52 card deck, cards are ranked in the usual order from ace down to two. Teen Patti sites are a popular gathering spot for players from all over the world.

Players each place a minimum stake in the pot. The dealer then deals out three cards each; the players bet on who has the best hand. Each player can either look at their hand before betting (playing "seen") or leave their cards face down (playing "blind"). "Seen" players must bet twice as much as "blind" players.

As with poker, the betting starts with the player to dealer's left, and continues in clockwise order around the table. Each player bets in turn until all but one has folded, or the game winds down to two players. In the final hand, one player pays for a show.

Teen Patti is an integral part of the Indian culture, featured in movies and a favored pastime of popular Bollywood stars.
